The size is small yet very spacious. Measuring out at 22.75 Liters or 23″ x 11″ x 5″.

The bag is composed of Nylon Rip Stop shell, and only has one large compartment. The bag is enclosed with a “YKK” brand fully Water Proof Zipper.

We use Rip Stop Nylon for the straps. They are non-padded (which allows it to be packable), but very comfortable!

The upgraded option for the shoulder straps is padding. We can add padding (just like in our back packs) for an extra $10.

The outside of the bag as a multi-use strap. This straps doubles as a compression strap and Blinky Light Loop.

Ok so we have toiling with the idea of an actual Saddle Bag. We call it “The Drafter!” Something simple yet very functional. Also we wanted something that will always perform 100% just like us! Hah!

You see there is a reflective light loop. Now when I’m riding at night I have to attach my light to my jersey pocket. Once it fell of, so we added the feature to save some trouble.

Also we use a 1″ strip of Nylon Webbing ensure supreme strength when cinching the bag to the saddle!
You simply loop the webbing through the rails of your saddle, then string the webbing through the black plastic “ladder-lock”.

Easy as cake!

We are using a Rip-Stop Nylon liner instead of the previous version which had Truck Tarp vinyl. This makes the bag more flexible. We also use a different strap method to fit a larger variety of Saddles and cinch down more easily. Lastly, we added 1″ to the length so you can hold a tad more.

Any time we travel, we always try to make a new bag, or a new upgrade to a current bag, to prototype. Plus we like making custom bags for ourselves!

We have had this idea on our minds for quite sometime. One word: Compartmentalization.

“To separate into distinct parts, categories, or compartments”

We basically mixed our popular Square Top with the Roll Top. Since we are on a 10 day trip we needed something BIG! Our Custom Americano definitely fits the part.

Both of our bags have custom sizing to them. Brianna’s Americano bag is sized custom to her smaller frame.

Ok now where do I begin?

First off this is a soft pack. It is made from 4 layers of Cordura and one layer of Vinyl.
Pretty light weight. About 2 LBS

The back is padded with .25″ Foam..

The bag is equipped with one large pocket followed by 2 outer pockets. The outer pockets are deep enough to hold your RRB Saddle Bag and a 20oz water bottle a-lop of it!

It has a side U-Lock holster that can be used for a wide variety of things.

You can fit anything from your shoes to extra clothes and really anything else you can cram into those 2 pockets.

The shoulder straps are padded with .25″ compression foam. They are made from high strength Cordura Nylon and 2″ Nylon Webbing.

There is an adjustable Sternum Strap to aid stability and comfort.

The lid is held down by 2 one inch straps with side release buckles. The straps follow through all the way to the base of the bag so if you wanted to hold a skate board, or sleeping bag on the underside of the bag you can.

The lid is also held down by velco and the height can be varied by what you have in it.

The mouth of the bag is secured by a pull cord, which also makes it water proof.

The size is equal to 32 liters in volume. The length is 24″ by 14″.

This backpack is fully waterproof with the exception of the open topped front pocket. Your face may get soaked, but at least you can ride easy knowing that your stuff is dry and protected.

The Roll Top comes with a document pocket on the outside. Attached to that are two larger pockets that can hold a 20oz water bottle in each. The bag unrolled extends up to 24″ and can roll down to 19″. This bag has a padded backing to it that allows for ventilation; ride faster, sweat harder! The straps are made with heavy duty ripstop nylon with an aesthetically pleasing diamond pattern. The straps include a chest/sternum strap for added stability. One more thing- our straps also have a side release buckle at the end of each; instead of looping your arms through the hole of the strap, you have the option of a quick release buckle. Pretty nice, right?
